An open letter . . . who am I?

My name is Kerri-Joanne Sperandio.  My husband Alessandro Sperandio, and I, have the intention for Australia to emerge a nation with zero tolerance for pedophilia in all its forms; one in which children and families are protected from all forms of sexual predation.

Our method is through awareness raising regarding the existence of elite pedophiles, and the many facets of their pedophile-normalizing and crime-minimizing agenda, that has led to an epidemic of pedophilia in both communities and homes in Australia. Further to this, we intend to inspire and support new moral, personal, and cultural responses to this issue across our nation, that serve to engage a sense of personal responsibility within each and every Australian, to end tolerance for pedophilia in our country. We aspire to motivate Australians to work together to non-violently remove pedophile “leaders” and enablers, in all sectors of Australian society, from positions of power. We intend to motivate Australians to participate in political and cultural processes with the objective of selecting and promoting only leaders and role models who are steadfast in their moral responsibility to ensure Australia remains a country that protects its children from pedophilic activity.

I recently handed over the reins of leadership of my local A1 Supporter Group (McEwan) in North Central Victoria, to commit my life to Show Hands for The Key, and to offer my recent marriage the necessary warmth and attention it deserves.

Show Hands for The Key is independent of A1, though closely aligned with our understanding of A1’s aims in relation to protecting Australian children from the scourge of elite pedophilia (and the epidemic of community and domestic pedophilia it has been designed to normalize and progenerate).

As a recovered survivor of 3 generations domestic sexual abuse, my 3-decade, hard-won, and thoroughly worked over relationship with truth and reality, has put me in a unique position to build bridges between ordinary Aussies, and the knowledge, wisdom, and experience of Survivors. My recovery and life experience has also given me the desire to reach toward survivors of the worst forms sexual enslavement (SRA, trafficking, and others); to bring their voice into our national narrative as a matter of fact and urgency. I believe that building this bridge is an essential, and foundational, part of our nation’s moral recovery, and an essential precondition for the coming, mass recovery of survivors themselves. My experience is that secrecy is protection for pedophiles and that silence is a life sentence for Survivors.

I have the courage to believe these bridges can be built. Perhaps simply because they must be. I am at times, brought to tears with awe (and a great many other feelings!) as I take hold of this final step in my own healing. I devote my life to giving back and doing what only I can do to inspire us all to save our children; recognizing that I share this national recovery mission with many others, and with many more to come.

I have been told that I have the capacity to gently, and powerfully, inspire Australians to shoulder their share of this tragic and megalithic national burden. The importance and power of what I am called to do, makes ever-more worthwhile the decades of soul-restitution and re-parenting that was, what I will call ‘Recovery’. Two things inspire me. The will to bequeath those, that must now recover, a national, social-moral, environment free of silence and shaming. I understand firsthand that recovery is endlessly more complex, needlessly lengthy, and excruciatingly painful, under the sabotaging influence of mountains of public and private denial, shame, and gas-lighting. Australia arriving at an awake, determined, national narrative that embodies zero-tolerance for pedophilia, also motivates me no end – and simply must be achieved – by all means both Godly and necessary.

Many Victorian A1 Supporters from a variety of groups have been of great moral and practical support in these endeavors. A1’s Victorian State Coordinator Craig Cole has put his trust and support behind me and Show Hands for The Key.

At present, Show Hands for The Key is working towards consolidating our foundations and furthering the above initiatives. Ongoing national success will require every Aussie to answer the call of responsibility in whatever form is possible for them. It will also require passionate supporters and sponsors, and volunteer help in a great range of skills sets and roles.

It is with great thanks and positive anticipation that I end this introduction. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for further information if you wish.
